Joseph J. Sozio, M.D.
Dr. Sozio received his medical education and training at the College of Medicine of New Jersey, Monmouth Medical Center, and the University of Illinois. He has over 20 years experience as a practicing physician, and a proven track record in developing and managing high quality, state-of-the-art medical facilities.
Dr. Sozio was the co-founder and managing partner of D*O*C*S, a multi-site/multi-specialty medical group in Westchester and New York City. He was president of Medmark Management Company, a physician practice management company that provided services to nearly half a million patients. He was also vice president for practice management at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and a practice management consultant to the hospitals in the Continuum Health Partners system, including Beth Israel Medical Center, St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Long Island College Hospital and New York Eye & Ear.
