The cosmetic nurse specialists at SkinCenter are licensed registered nurses. With combined experience of 15 years in the aesthetic field, our nurses have not only honed their nursing skills and knowledge, but also their expertise in the skin. Their hands-on training and experience with medical grade lasers, certifications in administering Fillers and Thermage treatments, and working alongside the physician staff at our Westchester Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Center gives them a unique perspective resulting in quality treatments. We invite you to experience the cosmetic nurse specialist’s touch, an integral part of the SkinCenter professional team.
Grace Sozio is a Board Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist. With her ongoing commitment to education, Grace has earned Aesthetic Nurse Specialist Certification through the International Society of Plastic And Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN).
The CANS certification is supported by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). This distinction indicates that the nursing professional has met superior standards in terms of education and clinical experience.
Grace’s favorite aspect of her job is creating a customized approach to help her patients meet their aesthetic goals.
She has nine years of hands-on medical aesthetics experience. Her combined skills in two disciplines, nursing and aesthetics, gives her the perfect background for her role at SkinCenter.
Grace specializes in the full range of hyaluronic acid dermal filler injections such as Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella, Belotero, as well as Radiesse and neuromodulator injections like Botox, Dysport and Xeomin. She is also certified in Thermage, an advanced skin tightening technique, cosmetic injectables, Kybella and Facial Artistry.
She is passionate about her work and likes to say: “No two faces are the same, and all are unique. Therefore, the approach to each face has to be tailored according to the patient’s specific needs.”
