SkinCenter is proud to have been one of the first practices in Westchester to offer Xeomin, a new option for the treatment of facial wrinkles.
Xeomin is the latest addition to the suite of treatments offered by our skin care and cosmetic surgery team in Westchester. This powerful treatment is especially effective on ‘frown lines,’ such as glabellar lines – the vertical folds or creases that form between the eyebrows, horizontal lines on the forehead, and “Crow’s Feet”, the lines around the eyes, to name a few. Over time, the skin loses elasticity and these frown lines can become permanent, causing us to give off an unhappy and unapproachable appearance. Xeomin safely and effectively erases those lines, delivering a refreshed and more youthful look.
Xeomin, like Botox and Dysport, is a liquid injection. These products work to interfere with the nerve signals being passed between the brain and the muscles to reduce movement and avoid wrinkling the skin. Xeomin is the latest product to be introduced that is similar to Botox and Dysport and is FDA approved.
The results of Xeomin injections are generally noticed within a week of treatment and typically remain for 3 to up to 6 months in some people.
Which injectable is right for you? At our cosmetic surgery center in Westchester, we do in-depth, individual consultations with every client to help them identify the best beauty treatment for their particular needs.
For the best results, and to ensure the ultimate in safety, SkinCenter believes that all injectable procedures should be performed by a physician or trained Cosmetic Nurse. That’s why we have doctors on the premises and why all of our nurses are R.N.s and experts in facial artistry. That’s the SkinCenter difference! If you’re interested in learning more about what these injectables can do for you, contact our cosmetic surgery center in Westchester to schedule a consultation.
