Spotlight on Westchester Health and Life Makeover Winner Christine Stelluti

Dr. Sozio, one of the very talented physicians at our cosmetic surgery center in Westchester, had the pleasure of getting to know Westchester Health and Life makeover contest winner Christine Stelluti over the last few months while helping her with the aesthetic portion of her makeover. Christine is an absolutely lovely person who has been a pleasure to work with. She was cooperative and receptive but appeared to lack confidence at first. Such is the case with many who have concerns about their appearance. Christine’s goal was to improve her skin and achieve a more youthful look. We knew that Dr. Sozio could help.

Christine received a series of successful laser hair removal treatments in our Westchester NY office to remove the hair on her upper lip and blemishes that were a concern for her. Facials and microdermabrasion treatments were used to improve the tone and texture of her skin. In addition, Botox injections were administered to soften the fine lines and wrinkles on Christine’s forehead, between the brows and around the eyes that detracted from her appearance. Also Juvederm, a dermal filler, was used to treat the nasolabial folds on either side of her mouth (also known as laugh lines or parentheses lines) to smooth out the creases that made Christine look older. Christine also requested subtle lip augmentation to give her the fullness she always desired with great results. Like many in the same age group, Christine had developed a downturn at the corners of her mouth (“marionette lines”) that result from collagen loss over time and unfortunately caused her to look unhappy. Juvederm corrected this issue and turned Christine’s frown upside down!

As with all of us, when we look good, we feel great. Christine is no exception. Improving her complexion has contributed to Christine’s amazing rejuvenated appearance and attitude. Now she absolutely glows and exudes the confidence she admits she hasn’t had in years.
